Legal Regulations for Lawyers (Rechtsanwälte)
Our Rechtsanwälte are lawyers in the Federal Republic of Germany. The title "Rechtsanwalt" is only bestowed in accordance with Federal German legal regulations and after a specified admission process determined by the Chamber of Lawyers responsible. Our lawyers are members of the Chamber of Lawyers in Cologne (Rechtsanwaltskammer Köln), Riehler Strasse 30, 50668 Cologne and of the Chamber of Lawyers in Berlin, Littenstraße 9, 10179 Berlin. They practice their profession in accordance with the stipulations outlined in the Berufsordnung für Rechtsanwälte (Guidelines dictating the practice of Law) and the Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (Federal Regulations for Lawyers). The fees that a lawyer may charge are also dictated in accordance with the Bundesrechtanwaltsgebührenordnung (Federal Lawyers Fee regulations) and the Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz (Lawyer Remuneration Act). Our tax advisors are members of the Chamber of Tax Advisers (Steuerberaterkammer), North Rhine Westphalia, in Cologne. They practice their profession in accordance with the law governing the practice of the tax advisor (Steuerberatergesetz), the Guidelines on implementing the law governing the practice of the tax advisor (Durchführungsverordnung zum Steuerberatergesetz ), the Further guidelines governing the practice of the tax advisor (Berufsordnung) and the law governing the tax adviser's fees (Steuerberatergebührenverordnung). The legal regulations of the profession can be viewed at the relevant Chamber of Tax Advisors North Rhine Westphalia in Cologne.
